Congratulations everybody!
This Wednesday, October 6, we will have a little welcoming party to get to know the newbies. There isn't much to discuss as far as agendas go, but we'll socialize, play icebreaker games, and have snacks (including leftover Maggie Moo's from the Blowout!). It is part of Mandatory Fun.

The Blowout is Friday! Get Excited!
Friday plan on staying after school to help set up. A few of you have talked to me already about needing to leave and come back and that's fine, but everybody else should be there to help. You can just bring clothes to change into. Daniel is coordinating some kind of dinner for us, like sandwiches from Subway, so don't worry about food.
Everybody needs to bring a 2-liter drink and a bag of chips/pretzels/nuts/chex mix or something of the sort. We will also have the bottles of water from the school store.
It is very important that you stay after the dance to help clean up. If everybody stays, it really won't take that long. I know we will all be tired and when I'm tired, I get kinda cranky so I will probably not be happy if you don't stay, haha.
Sell tickets at lung tomorrow! Make it seem like it is that last chance to buy tickets because we really want everyone to buy them tomorrow. If you're not working in the store, walk around the commons to sell them.
Be excited about the dance! Talk it up with your friends and be positive. It really will be a lot of fun. And I'm not just saying that because I have to either; I'm truly looking forward to it!
Any questions/concerns/great ideas, comment on the post or text me at (256) 479-1310.

If I got any of that wrong, or you just decided to change mind, feel free to work it out on your own. As long as you make yourself useful, I'm happy.
Anything you want to do outside of the meeting to make the BLOWOUT even better is strongly encouraged! Plan to stay longer than 3:45 if at all possible in order to get a lot of stuff done.
Open forum will be Thursday, Sept. 23 after school.
The following week will be busy! We will still be working on stuff for the dance, so plan on staying late Wed. Sept. 29. Also, we will probably have a meeting Thursday after school to finish up with preparation and have a chance to have a meeting with the newbies. And Friday is, of course, the Back to School BLOWOUT! We'll need everyone to stay after school to help set up and everything.

Cookie Craze
In the meeting today we established that Nikki will create an announcement for tomorrow and Friday. Everybody else should be talking it up with their friends - it's part of your duty as a class representative!
Annie is the chair for the Cookie Craze committee. You can discuss ideas about Cookie Craze here and if you are interested in helping make cookies on Sunday or a day in the middle of the week contact Annie for the ingredients and what not.

Back to School BLOWOUT!
Anything and everything: music, decorations, snacks, additional activities, etc.
The theme we decided on is sort of demolition/underground/graffiti rave-ish. In the spirit of moving into the new building and leaving the old one behind, this theme fits perfectly and should get people excited for both the dance and the move.
Be prepared to discuss ideas at the next meeting, Wednesday, Sept. 8.
Remember: this is homework!
